The International Academy of Music Arts and Sciences started life as the American Musical Academy of Arts Association. In the 1930’s the AMAAA was the in-house promotional company for Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Their first task was to promote each and every movie, movie star and press junket involving MGM. Their second task was to create and maintain artist’s imagery. Ever wondered who made sure the stars were looking good or how they got to the premiers on time? It was the agents at the AMAAA who had to undertake such a daunting task. They were the pros that created all that was the glamorous Hollywood.
In the early 1990’s the AMAAA was purchased by its larger sister company, the IAMAS Corporation in an effort to expand their exposure to the entertainment world. The IAMAS Corporation is a privately owned company that is not open to the public. IAMAS remains private due to it’s involvement with high profile celebrities and highly confidential business deals throughout the entertainment community.
IAMAS has many learning universities throughout the world that teaches media and entertainment platforms. We teach young people how to penetrate the entertainment world in the areas of performance art, media outreach, stage presence, artist development, and overall movie production. Our learning institutions also give young upcoming industry professionals the tools they will need in the areas of computer sciences and various applications in the field of arts.
